In a blender, add the avocados, maple syrup, vanilla, and coffee. Gently blend until smooth (it should not take long for everything to combine). Add in the melted chocolate and blend until everything is well combined.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and then add the avocado mixture. Using a spoon, stir until everything is combined.
Add in the cocoa powder and almond flour. Stir until everything is combined. Last, add in the chocolate chips.
Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Add the batter to the dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. The brownies should be cooked, but still a little fudgy!
To make the icing, add all ingredients, except the cocoa powder, to a small saucepan. Heat over low heat until smooth and combined. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cocoa powder.
Allow the brownies and the icing to cool for 20 minutes before icing the brownies. Once cool, ice the brownies. Enjoy immediately, or wait for the icing to set a little bit!
