Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

These chocolate peanut butter bars are to die for! They remind me of a Reece Cup, but with a creamy peanut butter and oat base. They are no bake, and only take about 25 minutes to make from start to finish (that includes 15 minutes in the freezer!).

Equipment

  • 8x4 loaf pan

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked oats
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter, creamy
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

  • Add the oats, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ½ cup of the peanut butter to a large bowl. Stir until well combined.
  • Add parchment paper to an 8x4 loaf pan. Evenly press the oat mixture into the parchment paper.
  • Spread the remaining 1/4 cup of peanut butter over the oat mixture in the pan.
  • Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Using a spoon, spread the chocolate on top of the peanut butter layer.
  • Freeze for 15 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator (or eat them right out of the freezer!). Slice into 6 bars and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
