Ingredients
3/4cupunsweetened applesauce
6tbspbrown sugar
4tbspgranulated sugar
2tbspbutter, melted
1tspvanilla extract
1/2tspbaking soda
1tspbaking powder

1apple, grated
For the Caramel Sauce
1/4cupmaple syrup
1/2cupalmond butter
1tspcinnamon
Instructions
Combine the melted butter, applesauce, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
Add the baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.
Then add in the oats, and stir until well combined.
Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Evenly pour the oat mixture into the dish and top with the grated apple shreds.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until the edges start to crisp.
Meanwhile, add the almond butter, cinnamon, and maple syrup to a small saucepan over medium heat. Heat until fully combined.
Let the bars cool and then drizzle or spread the "caramel sauce" on top.
