This cajun shrimp with lemon orzo is a crowd pleaser, and is ready in under 20 minutes! The spiciness of the cajun shrimp pairs perfectly with the lemony orzo. I even like to drizzle some extra lemon juice and butter over the top of mine when serving! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, I have become a huge fan of orzo. It&#8217;s good with sauces, in salads, paired with meat, etc. You can really do anything with it! I especially love adding butter and lemon juice to it. This lemon orzo pairs well with many other dishes, but it also stands alone! The simpler the better! This recipe consists of a handful of clean ingredients. <\/li><li>You could use any sort of milk in this recipe (coconut milk, almond milk, regular milk, half &amp; half for a creamier consistency, etc.). <\/li><li>Most of the flavor comes from the lemon, which tastes so fresh and clean!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You can use any color of bell pepper, but I recommend using an orange one. It pairs so well with the other flavors in this dish!<\/li><li>I buy my shrimp at the fish market already cooked! This makes this meal so much easier and quicker!<\/li><li>If you like your shrimp spicier, feel free to add some more cajun seasoning. You could even mix some extra with some melted butter and drizzle on the dish at the end. <\/li><li>This makes for some great leftovers. I love heating this up the next day. Drain the water and add the juice of one lemon and 2 tbsp of butter. Stir until the butter is melted. Saute for 7 minutes. Add the juice of one lemon, 1\/2 tbsp butter, cajun seasoning, milk, and parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted. <\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-296-step-0-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Add the already cooked shrimp to the skillet and coat with the creamy cajun mixture. Make sure each shrimp has seasoning on it (you can add more seasoning if you like spicy food). Remove the skillet from the heat. <\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-296-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Add some orzo to a plate and then top with the cajun shrimp.
