They remind me of a Reece Cup, but with a creamy peanut butter and oat base. They are no bake, and only take about 25 minutes to make from start to finish (that includes 15 minutes in the freezer!). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I made a version of this recipe for few of my recipe development clients and I got rave reviews! Mainly because these chocolate peanut butter bars require standard ingredients that are in most kitchens and don&#8217;t require any cook time! They remind me of a <a href=\"https:\/\/laurencunningham.co\/?p=32\">protein ball<\/a>, but in bar form. As I said before, this recipe is reminiscent of my protein ball recipe. Instead of using honey, this recipe calls for maple syrup. I think I might start using maple syrup in my protein balls now! It really does add the perfect sweet flavor. <\/li><li>If you needed to, you could use almond butter instead of peanut butter. I have not tested this recipe using almond butter, so if you end up trying it, let me know how it goes! <\/li><li>The type of chocolate you use in this recipe is really up to you. You can cut up a dark chocolate bar and melt that. I decided to use semi sweet chocolate chips, but feel free to use whatever you prefer!   <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I would use a loaf pan when throwing this recipe together. It forms the bars into the perfect size!<\/li><li>You must split the peanut butter into 1\/2 cup and 1\/4 cup increments.
