These sweet glazed carrots have a maple syrup, cinnamon, and butter glaze and are perfectly tender. I love recipes with only a few ingredients, especially during the busy holiday season. These sweet glazed carrots pair well with any holiday dinner &#8211; both Thanksgiving and Christmas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am usually not a huge fan of carrots unless they are dunked in ridiculous amount of ranch dressing. However, when I started cleaning up my diet a few years ago, I knew I had to find a way to include this powerhouse vegetable. They are packed full of vitamins and antioxidants (more on that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/food-recipes\/benefits-carrots\">here<\/a>). Anyways, I have come to the conclusion that I am not a plain carrot kinda girl. In moderation, butter is good for you! <\/li><li>Maple syrup is one of my favorite sweeteners. It is free of refined sugar and is a real food. I love the sweetness it adds to dishes, without upsetting the flavors already there. <\/li><li>The primary ingredient of this dish are carrots, which seem to be a hard vegetable to convince people to eat these days, despite its known health benefits. Even though these carrots are smothered in this sweet glaze, they are still very nutritious. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How long should I cook the carrots?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is really up to you! I have found that the sweet spot is about 20 minutes for tender carrots. If you like for your cooked carrots to be a little firmer, feel free to cook for less time.
